Neeltje "Nellie" (DeSwarte) Vruwink, 79, passed away on 6 March 1922 at Cedar Grove, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She was born on 16 January 1843 at Nieuwvliet, Sluis Municipality, Zeeland, Netherlands, a daughter of Peter Bartholomew DeSwarte, 1787-1860 and Sussana (Thomas) DeSwarte. She married Albert Vruwink in about 1863.
Mrs. Vruwink was survived by a sister, Adriana (DeSwarte) Vandervelde, b. 1839.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Albert, 1836-1919; daughter, Sarah (Vruwink) Tillema, 1864-1901; and siblings, Johannes DeSwarte, 1814-1870; Janneke (DeSwarte) Tellier, 1818-1858; Johanna (DeSwarte) Vermeulen, 1821-1859; Susanna (DeSwarte) Ketelle, 1823-1904; Abraham DeSwarte, 1826-1909; Jacob DeSwarte, 1827-1911; Rachel (DeSwarte) Rispalje, 1836-1909; and Cornelius DeSwarte, 1846-1917.
Neeltje is buried at the Union Cemetery, Oostburg, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. The findagrave memorial ID is 29320639.
