Biography

Charles was born in 1700. He passed away in 1771.

Notes The name Grymes was used at death. However, Charles is recorded in the UK Poll Books and Electoral Registers, 1538 -1893 in the Taverham Hundred, Salhouse 1768 as Grimes.

On his memorial inscription (see below) is a reference to his wife Judith (1707 to 1740). This is possibly Judith Pigg. Two children, Charles 1732 and Elizabeth 1734 were born to a Charles Grimes and wife Judith. Research needs to be done to ensure this is correct or otherwise.
