Biography
Captain Thomas Staunton was born circa 1636. He was the son of George Staunton and Eleanor Lynch.
He married Deborah Morgan, daughter of Captain John Morgan, with whom he had three children.
He held the office of Mayor of Galway. He gained the rank of Captain in the Galway Militia.
