Orin William Hicks was born 9 Jul 1911 in Kansas. He is the son of Arthur Lewis Hicks and Rhea Ovoco Bland.
Orin joined the Royal Canadian Army in WWII. He was captured in the Philippines and became a prisoner of war at "Calloon" Japan for four years.[1][2][3]
He married Lela Mary Durbin 3 Aug 1953 in Jackson, MIssouri.[4][5]
