Biography

Maria Giuseppa was born in 1907 in Milford.^[1] Her birth was entered into the Casalvecchio register in 1909 by her mother after the family had moved back to Italy.^[2]

Maria Giuseppa, her sister Giovanna and Arcangela Andreola-24 all applied for (and received) passports in 1922. The references for Giovanna & Maria Giuseppa were their Grandmother, Maria Sannicandro-21 and their Aunt Maria Orsogna, both at 12 Pond St. See this link for more notes on their passport approvals.^[3] They all returned to Milford on the Adriatic in 1923.^[4]
