Sarah Baldwin Vilas was born at Pierrepont, New York, on 11 Oct 1873, the daughter of Edwin B. Vilas and Frances (Seymour) Vilas.^[1][2]

Marriages

1. Sarah Baldwin Vilas married Sylvester F. Field on 25 Apr 1900 in Manhattan, New York City.^[3] He died in 1904, and in 1915 Sarah was living in New York City.^[2] In his will, made on 6 Dec 1904, Sylvester F. Field of New York City leaves his entire estate to his wife, Sara B. Field.^[4]
2. The widow Sarah Baldwin Field, 41, married the widower Cortez Jefferson Mapp, 55, in Manhattan, New York City, on 24 Apr 1915.^[3]

Death

The gravestone of Sara B. Mapp at the Ogdensburg Cemetery in Ogdensburg, New York, is inscribed with the dates 1873-1954.^[5]
