Biography
George Jack Marr was born on 1 Feb 1890 in St. Martins, St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, son of George Marr (~1862–~1890) and Elizabeth Clara Skillen (1862–1946).[1] He was the Superintendent of Schools in Saint John before his retirement in 1955. Husband of Bernice.
George (29) married Bernice Luvilla Kay (29) (born on 11 Oct 1889 in River Glade, Salisbury, Westmorland, New Brunswick; daughter of Burton W. Kay and Mary Jane (Simpson) Kay) on 17 Sep 1919 in Westmorland. Their known son was Ralph Burton Marr (1920–1997).
George died on 6 Dec 1968 in Saint John, St. John, aged 78. He is commemorated at Ocean View Memorial Gardens, Saint John, Saint John County, New Brunswick.[1]
