One miner was killed and another escaped injury when burled by a fall of stone In Richmond Main colliery yesterday afternoon Albert Hill and Jack Jones were working in pillars in No. 5 panel, main west section of the mine, when a quantity of stone fell from the roof. Hill was pinned by the fall, but Jones, who was near a skip, was able to crawl out unhurt. Workmates rushed to the scene of the accident, but a further fall occurred and It was two hours before Hill's body was recovered.
