Biography

Carlton was born in 1901. He was the son of Charles Brerewood and Willie Mills. The census of 1910 ^[1] and 1920^[2] document Carlton living with his parents on their farm in Dorchester County, Maryland. By 1930 he had moved to Cambridge, Maryland, and was working as a Life Insuarnce Agent.^[3] In 1935 Carlton married Viola Phillips. Census records for 1940^[4] and 1950^[5] indicate that the couple had no children.

Carlton passed away in 1971. ^[6]
