Biography

Philadelphia was born about 1643 according to her marriage record.

She married Nevill Hall by License on 24 July 1663 and she was living in Great St Bartholomew, London. Nevill was 22 and living at Kennington, Kent.^[1]

Philadelphia and her brother Francis are mentioned in the Will of their cousin, nephew of their mother Anne's father, Robert Bell. Of interest is that in Robert's Will, written 16 January 1656/7, her brother Francis is said to have been in Virginia, presumably referring to America.

• Baptism record needed.
• Children if any to be researched.
• She may have been buried on 11 December 1734 at St Margaret, Westminster. This would make her around 91 when she died which is not impossible. Other Bickley's have lived to a similar age (Frauncis (Byckley) Bickley Bt (bef.1583-1670)). If she can be connected up to this Bickley line then this 1734 should be evaluated as hers. Further research required.^[2]
