Biography

Elizabeth Vereker was baptised on 16 April 1745 at St Mary's, Limerick. She was the only daughter and eventual only heir of Dr Amos Vereker of Bettyville, County Limerick, and Elizabeth Langton.^[1]

She married Moore Disney of Churchtown, County Waterford, with a marriage settlement dated 10 July 1761.^[1]

Moore and Elizabeth had children:

4. William Disney m Augusta Georgiana Forrest

Research Notes

• Sir Moore Disney was the eldest son of Moore Disney and Elizabeth Vereker, of Churchtown, Co. Waterford, who was descended from the Disneys of Norton Disney in Northamptonshire. Disney married Mary, one of the daughters of George Cooke Yarborough of Streethope, Yorkshire, who was the widow of Ralph Sneyd. Mary died on 26 January 1831. He died in 1846 at his house in Upper Brook Street, London.
