Cathrine Elisabeth (1781 - 1840) var datter Oberstløytnant Christian Fries og Pauline Dorothea Paulsen (1744 - 1834) . Cathrine Elisabeth Fries ble gift 09.Jan. 1800 i Hillerød, Danmark, med Jurist og politiker og ridder av den svenske Nordstjerneorden Bredo Henrik Von Munte af Morgenstierne, født 27. Sept. 1774 Bækkeskov gods , Evendrup sogn Bårse herred,præstø amt i Danmark. Død 03. Juni 1835 og begravet i Oslo Domkirke Norge (Norway) Catherine Elisabeth levde til 1840, og ble begravet i Christiania (= Oslo) Norway. Mannen, Bredo Henrik Von Munthe af Morgenstierne kom til Norge i 1806, og en må vel anta at hans kone reiste med ham ?.
