Biography

Davis was born in Mar 1859 in Pennsylvania, according to the 1900 census. However, according to his Find a Grave memorial in the Highland Cemetery, New Columbia, Union County, Pennsylvania, he was born in 1863. There are three pictured memorial stones that appear of identical style and they may have been placed some time after the deaths.

An additional potential discrepancy is that Davis may have been his middle name. It is possible that he was the Jospeh D. Fisher enumerated in the 1880 census in Gregg Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.

He passed away in 1938.
