Roy Bernard Baker was born on 09 Sep 1912 in Falls, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, United States. He was the son of Barnard B Baker and Sara Idabell Hunt. He married Marion Frances Tingley on 29 Aug 1933 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. Roy died on 07 Jan 1976 in Binghamton, Broome County, New York, and is buried in Fairview Cemetery in Lake Winola, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania.

Baker, 63, 330 Main St., Hallstead, died Saturday in Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, N.Y., after an illness. Born in Mill City, son of Mrs. Sara Baker, Endwell, N.Y. and the late Bernard Baker, he was a retired employee of Endicott Johnson Corp. He attended First United Presbyterian Church, Hallstead. Surviving are his widow, the former Marion Tingley; a son, Stephen, Oley, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Marilyn) Barnard, Hallstead; and Mrs. William (Patricia) Long, Belefonte, Pa.; a brother, Stanley, Endwell, N.Y.; three sisters, Mrs. Margretta Davis, Hallstead; Mrs. Norman (Elizabeth) Stephens, Hallstead RD; and Mrs. Thomas (Marion) Frisbie, Lawsville, Pa.; and an uncle, Karl Hunt, Nicholson; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. from Harold E. Tuttle Funeral Home, Hallstead, with Rev. John H. Dabback, First United Presbyterian Church, and Rev. Robert Goerlitz, New Milford Baptist Church, officiating. Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Mill City. Friends may call 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
