Biography

Kenneth "Ken" Schueller, 66, a vice president of Wilson Mutual Insurance of Sheboygan, passed away at at his home located at 1961 Jay Road in Belgium, Ozaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, 7 September 1996. The cause of death was listed as multiple myeloma cancer for which he was under the care of Community Home Hospice at the time of his death.

Mr. Schueller was born on 17 July 1930, in Belgium, a son of Aloyzius "Aloys" Anton Schueller, 1903-1989 and Alexia Lucy (Rach) Schueller, 1904-1988. Following his high school graduation in 1948, he served two years (3 November 1954 to 21 August 1956) in the United States Army in Korea. He returned home to operate the Schueller Family Century Farm.

On 28 August 1954, he married Beata Mae Torke at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake Church, a suburb of Belgium. They were blessed with seven children.

In addition to his post with Wilson Mutual Insurance, Mr. Schueller served on numerous business boards. For example, he was secretary of the Random Lake Cooperative Association for many years and attended numerous vegetable growers conventions. His other involvements were assisting his son with the family corn roasting operation and serving on the committee for the two Schueller family reunions that drew large numbers of family members.

Kenneth was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Parish in Dacada and a member of the adult choir.

His survivors included: his wife Beata, b. 1932; children, John Schueller of Florida; James "Jim" Schueller and Peter "Pete" Schueller at home; Mary of Sheboygan; Ann (Schueller) Bradford of Marinette, Wisconsin; Clare (Schueller) Bowe of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; Ruth of Marshfield, Wisconsin; sisters, Elaine S. (Schueller) Feider, b. 1932 of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin; Nadine Seubert of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Resurrection was said at St. Nicholas Church on Wednesday, 11 September presided over by the Rev. Fr. Richard Cepich and Mr. Schueller's cousin, the Rev. Fr. Charles Wester.

The family suggested memorials to the Friends of St. Nicholas Hospital Foundation in Sheboygan or to the Lakeview Community Library in Random Lake, Wisconsin. Mr. Schueller was buried at the Saint Nicolas Cemetery, Belgium, Ozaukee, Wisconsin. ^[1]
