Biography
James was born in 1834. He came to NSW after the death of his mother Eleanor Ryan in 1848. He became a successful business man and pastoralist in Orange NSW.[1] He passed away in 1919.
James Dalton’s top hat is held by the Orange and District Historical Society [2]
