Research Notes
Previously thought to be the first husband of Nedra Endsley, and thus father of her daughter Saundra (1939-1994). He was actually Nedra's second husband, and Saundra's father was Luther Barnett. Feargus had also been married before and had a daughter named Sandra from his first marriage.
He was thought to be the Ferg H Squire who was born in 1890 and died in 1946. However, Nedra and Feargus didn't marry until 1950 so this was definitely not him. The other family members linked to this profile are based on cemetery records for that other Ferg Squire.
Biography
Feargus Bowden Squire II was born on 25 Dec 1909 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA to Reginald Rockefeller Squire and Edna (Searle) Squire.
- He was named after his grandfather Feargus O'Connor Bowden Squire AKA Feargus Bowden Squire (1850-1932), Born in England. TRANSATLANTIC CROSSING! (To Boston, Massachusetts) His grandmother was Louisa C Breymaier, married to Feargus Dec 28 1876. [1]
In 1910 Fergus Squire (age 4 months) lived at 2028 East 23rd Street in Cleveland with his father Reginald R (26, Agent for Oil Co), mother Edna (21), servant Anna Oillner (25), and nurse Edith Clark (20).[2]
In 1920 Feargus R Squire (age 10) lived at Suite 8, 12345 Cedar Rd in Cleveland Heights with his father Reginald R (38, President of Oil Co), mother Ethel [Edna] Louise (33), brother Willard S (9), and sister Emily T (8).[3]
In 1930 Feargus Squire Jr (age 20) lived at 11428 Cedar Road, Cedar Glenn in Cleveland with his grandfather Feargus (80), father Reginald (47), mother Edna (42), brother Willard (19), sister Emily (18), lodger Emily Searle (69), and servant Mary Holiday (55).[4]
Feargus B Squire II (age 23, son of Reginald R Squire & Edna Searle) married Martha Haworth (age 26, daughter of William J Haworth & Anna Crocker) on 12 Nov 1932 in Cuyahoga County.[5]

Feargus B Squire married Nedra Barnett [nee Endsley] on 12 Aug 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma - the marriage was officiated by W H Alexander, a minister at First Christian Church in Oklahoma City, and the witnesses were Loretta S Lutter & G D Woodson.[7]
Feargus B Squire, born 25 Dec 1909, passed away on 18 Jul 1964 in Santa Cruz County, California - he was born in Ohio and his mother's maiden name was Searle.[8]
An obituary for Feargus B Squire was published in The Plain Dealer in Ohio - it named his surviving relatives as mother Edna, wife Nedra, three daughters: Margo Droese, Barbara Vero, and Sandra Hall, and sister Emily McCarthy.[9][10]
