Biography
BIDDEFORD - Claire Ann Lemire LaSante died Monday after a long battle with Alzheirmers.
She was born July 26, 1923, in Biddeford. She resided there until she moved to Dover, NH in 1950 where she and her husband raised three children.
She was a seamstress at Dover Fashions and numerous shoe shops in the surrounding area. She later retired to Port St Lucie, Florida, where she lived until 2005, when she moved to Vidor, Texas to live with her family.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; one brother and one sister. She is survived by: her husband of 58 years, Gerard LaSante; two sons; one daughter, seven grandchildren and two sisters, Rita Roy of Port St Lucie, FL and Therese Saucier of Biddeford.
