I cannot say where Martha Shaffer was born but I can say with certainty that she is not the daughter of Jacob Shaffer and Catherine Kennedy. All of their 10 children are confirmed with deed records. There is another Shaffer family in Beaver County as well as Shaffer families in Sommerset County that could be related. I have removed Jacob and Catherine Shaffer as they are not the correct parents.
