Biography

Leon Grabert was born about 1826 in Louisiana, United States.^[1]

He married Marie Delvina Rivette, daughter of Pierre Rivette and Marie Scholastique Maillet, in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. They applied for a marriage license on 14 July 1852,^[2] and were wed on 26 July 1852.^[3]

In 1860, the family was living in Lafourche Parish, where he worked as a farmer.^[1]
