Biography

Antonino Candila was born at Lipari, Provincia di Messina, Kingdom of Sicily, about 1580, of unknown parentage; and died at Lipari, after 4 December 1622.^[1]

He married, first, at Lipari, about 1605, Bartolomea "Bartolilla" diMasi, who was born at Lipari, about 1587, daughter of Giacomo diMasi and Porsia Trovatino; and died at Lipari, before 26 May 1613.^[2]

Antoninus Candila married, second, at Lipari, 26 May 1613, by Reverendo Don Tomasso Policastro, Bartola Garsía. The witnesses were Francesco Carnilvari and Michele Ramires.^[3]

Bartolomea Garsía was born at Lipari, about 1598, daughter of Ferrari Garsía and Diana Parrino; and died at Lipari, after 4 December 1622.^[4]
