Biography
Elizabeth Buttle was born on 16 Feb 1788 in Trunch, Norfolk, England to Samuel Buttle and Susannah (Watts) Buttle - she was christened on 20 Feb 1788.[1]
Elizabeth Buttle of Trunch, single woman, and John Larke of Erpingham, single man, were married by banns on 27 Sep 1813 in Trunch - the witnesses were E Lark & Wm Pratt.[2]
Elizabeth and John had at least one daughter:
- Elizabeth Ann Larke (1813-bef.1821?)
- Elizabeth was thought to be the mother of Robert Larke (1817-1890), but he was actually the son of John's second wife.
Elizabeth Lark, aged 27 years, was buried in 1815 in Trunch.[3]
