Adam de Amazoon is geboren in Nederland na 1811

Adam de Amazoon was born on 8 Feb 1825 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Nederland, as son of Willem D'Amazoon (~1789 - 1826) and Lena Luwiesa Rompel (1793-1836).[1][2] Willem and Helena were not married, but he was acknowledged by both his parents.

On 27 Apr 1844, Adam was enlisted to the 2nd regiment infanterie of the Nationale Militie.[3] In August 1844 Adam spent some time in the Buitengasthuis, twice. He stayed there for 17 days.[4] After he was dismissed he was hospitalized again only 7 days later. This time he had to stay for 11 days.[5]

Adam married to Elisabeth Swart on 25 Oct 1848 in Amsterdam.[6] Elisabeth already had a daughter at that moment, Jacoba Zwarts. Born at 9 Dec 1844 with an unknown father[7]
Together Adam and Elisabeth had 4 children:

  1. Elisabeth Helena Maria de Amazoon (1848-1866)[8][9]
  2. Adam Hendrik de Amazoon (1850-1851)[10][11]
  3. Levenloze baby de Amazoon (1851-1851)[12]
  4. Levenloze baby de Amazoon (1852-1852)[13]

Elisabeth Swart passed away on 3 Jul 1870 in Amsterdam, aged 55.[14][15]

After Elisabeth passed away, Adam got involved with her daugher Jacoba Zwarts). Together they became the parents to 4 children. Adam acknowledge all of them as his own, but he did not married Jacoba.
