Biography

Edward Mac Conahey Quinby Jr was born on 16 Oct 1913 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States, son of Edward Mac Conahey Quinby (1884 - 1950) and Henrietta (Bowlin) Quinby (1884 - 1955).

His brother was Richard Curry Quinby (1924 - 2014).

Edward married Elizabeth Inghram Hail (1915 - 1974) in Jul 1941 in Wayne, Ohio, United States.

Edward died on 29 Jan 1969 in Daviess, Kentucky aged 55. He is buried in Wooster Cemetery, Wooster, Ohio.

Edward was born in 1913. He was the son of Edward Quinby and Henrietta Bowlin. He was born in Pennsylvania, but spent most of his childhood in Wooster, Wayne, Ohio.^[1][2]

The 1940 Census documents Edward in Henderson, Texas.^[3] In 1940, Edward registered for the draft for WWII. He listed his employer as Texas Company Producing Dept and his birthplace as Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.^[4]

In 1941, Edward married Elisabeth Inghram Hail in Ohio.^[5]

He passed away in 1969.^[6] Edward was interred in Wooster Cemetery, Wooster, Wayne, Ohio.^[7]

Research Notes

His file in the Social Security Death Index lists Texas as the place of death, rather than Kentucky as Kentucky records show.^[8] It may be that his last place of residence in the Social Security records was Texas.
