Biography

Mary Lawrence was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on May 25, 1785. She was daughter of Phinehas Lawrence and Elizabeth. ^[1]

Chester Lyman "of Roxbury" and Mary Lawrence were married in Waltham, Massachusetts on Sept 23, 1810. ^[2]

They first settled in Waltham, Massachusetts and had four children, one of whom died young.

They relocated to Troy, New Hampshire and Mary Lawrence Lyman died in Troy on Jan 25, 1828. She is buried at Troy Village Cemetery. ^[3] Chester remarried.

I changed the death date from 1838 to 1828. Maj. Chester Lyman remarried to Lucy Porter on 1 July 1828. ^[4] The third image on the Find-a-Grave profile for Mary Lawrence Lyman shows the engraving on the headstone to be 1828.^[5]
