Biography
In this village (Waterloo) on the 28th ult. (Sept. 28th) at the house of her son-in-law, S.G. [Sterling Goodale] Hadley, Esq., Mrs. Sila W. P. Inslee in the 63rd year of her age. Mrs. Inslee was born Gilead [sic, Hebron], Conn. on Mar. 9, 1789. Thrice during her life she was left in a state of widowhood. Her first husband and father of her children, Henry H. Welles, died in 1825. Henry Pauling [sic, Pawling], Esq., her second husband died in 1836. Her third and last husband, the late Judge [Jonathan] Inslee of this place, died in 1844.
