Henry was born in 1875 to German immigrants Eduard and Therese L (Hecker) Daniel.

He served in the Spanish-American War.^[1]

He married Anna Clara Frangishe (Herwig) Daniel (1881-1967) on 21 October 1899 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, United States. They had 7 children.

He lived in the soldier's home for about 11 years, starting in 1925, before his death at age 60. He passed away in 1936.^[1][2]
