Lloyd was born in 1932. He was the son of Floyd Gatten and Birdie Gallagher. He passed away in 2008.

He was born January 6, 1932 in Monroe County Ohio a son of the late Floyd Gatten and Birdie Gallagher Gatten. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, his twin brother Boyd, and Jack Gatten. He is survived by his daughter: Charlene (Herbert) Dalrymple of Lewisville, Ohio, 2 sisters: Linda Lucas - Woodsfield, Ohio, Bonnie McCaslin - Woodsfield, Ohio, 3 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, Several sister & brother in-laws. Friends received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday July 21, 2008 with Rev. William Graham officiating. Interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery Woodsfield, Ohio.
