Bengt Hilding was born to unwed school teacher Ester Nilsson 22 December 1923.[1] When he was tiny he lived with his grandmother in Malmö.[2]
Bengt HIlding was a betrothal child. His father was fjärdingsman Hilding Krister Nilsson, who, however, never married Ester Nilsson, but instead married another woman in 1937.[3] Bengt Hilding may have lived for some time in his father's household, but mostly grew up with his mother.[4] They still lived in Äsphult at the time of the census 1940.[5]
Bengt Hilding Nilsson worked as a clerk.[6]
Bengt Hilding Nilsson died unmarried 3 November 1989.[7]
