We pray you remember in the Lord the beloved Anna Frances, widow of Edward Spooner, Rector of Hadleigh, Co-Dean of Bocking, and second daughter of John Chevallier and Lucy Cobbold of Holy Wells. Her life was a most precious example of Faith, Wisdom and Love. This Church was built and endowed by her to the Glory of God and in loving memory of her Parents and Brothers. On the morning of the Festival of the Holy Innocents 1906 she fell asleep in Christ aged 76 years.
