Biography

Eileen was born in 1897. She was the daughter of Ada Mary Thomas, nee Penhaligon and William Henry Thomas.

She married Harold Ethelwyn Dowding in 1919. After giving birth to four sons, there was a marital breakdown in the 1930s.

Eileen had a son with William Henry Neville Green in 1937 and Eileen became known as Mrs Green.

William Green passed away in 1944.

Eileen passed away in 1957, aged 59. She was buried at Ōtāhūhū Cemetery.
