Gladys (Haberern) Lemieux was born in Manchester, Connecticut, on February 27, 1933, daughter of Michael Haberern & Katherine Howard (or Horwath, it is unclear)^[1]

Gladys married Normand Lemieux on February 27, 1954 in Manchester, Hartford, Connecticut.^[2]

Along with her husband, they ran several successful businesses over the years, including Superior Electronics, The Park Central Hotel, and Mrs. Superior's Rentals. ^[1] She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Marie (Lemieux) Stewart.

Gladys died on June 13, 2019 at Douglas Manor, in Windham, Windham County, Connecticut, at the age of 86 years old. ^[1]

She was buried in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Willimantic, Connecticut, alongside her husband^[3]
