Biography

Samuel was born about 1816. In 1838, when he was about 22 years old, he married Rosetta Milburn in St Mary's County, Maryland.[1] Neither the 1850 nor the 1860 Census indicate that they had any children who survived childhood.

He passed away in 1863 and is buried at Trinity Church Cemetery in St Mary's County, Maryland,[2] His will, dated 5 June 1863 and presented for probate 27 July 1853, leaves everything to his wife on condition that she see to the education of Charles J M Boherman, son of John Boherman, "who I love as if he were my own child" and who was to inherit half of the estate should his wife remarry (which she did).[3]
