Biography

Lorenzo C. Furcolo is the oldest known brother of Dr. Charles L. Furcolo, the Springfield, Massachusetts, physician. Vital records give conflicting accounts of their father's name, calling him either Pasquale or Lorenzo. Their mother is called Josephine and her last name at birth appears to have been Giannini. The family is from Sant'Angelo all'Esca, Avellino, Italy, a town of about 2,000 people.[1] Italian records and migration records for this family have not yet been found.
