m. 17 Jan 1816 Nelly Skinner, in Ovid, New York, USA
The 1820 census[1] saw them with a daughter between 10-16, suggesting that she may have been a daughter by a previous marriage. There were also at least two sons, one born in 1821-22 (Samuel) and the other, George Washington Sherwood, born on 6 May 1823 (per his death certificate).[2] Morris died in 1836 in New Haven, Huron, Ohio.
