Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Louise Sharp Killen, 63, Brown's Ferry Road, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Market Street Church of Christ. She was the widow of Milton Stribling Killen Sr. Mrs. Killen was president of Sharp and Killen, Inc., which includes Sharp and Killen Department Store and S&K Fabric Shop in downtown Athens. She assumed the position after the death of her husband in November of 1963. The Killens moved to Athens in 1952 after they had purchased the Rosenau Brothers Store in 1947. The store was then named Sharp and Killen. One of her sons, Don Killen, who is immediate past president of the Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce, is manager of the two stores here. She was a member of the Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce and the Market Street Church of Christ. She was also a former member of the Athens Business and Professional Women's Club. Mrs. Killen died at 6 a.m. Wednesday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital. Burial will be in the Athens Roselawn Cemetery, Sewell Hall and Don Osborne officiating, McConnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Surviving Mrs. Killen are four sons, LTC Milton Stribling Killen Jr., Ft. Belvoir, Alexandria, VA, William Sharp Killen, Jimmy Eugene Killen and Don Sherron Killen, all of Athens; a sister, Mrs. W. D. [Virginia] Irby, Memphis, TN; a brother, Edgar C. Sharp, Houston, TX; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Stribling Killen Sr.; parents, William Edgar Sharp and Cynthia E. Morrison Sharp; and two sisters, Mary Morrison Sharp Hunt and Blanche Anderson Sharp.
