Biography

Thomas Cuthbert was born in 1859 at Mendlesham in Suffolk. He was the son of William Cuthbert and his wife Elizabeth, born Elizabeth Phoebe Grimwade. ^{[1] [2]}

In 1861 Thomas Cuthbert was living in Front Street at Mendlesham with his parents, William and Elizabeth P., their other children, his grandmother Mary Cuthbert, and his aunt Elizabeth Cuthbert. His age was given as 1, implying a birth date in 1859 or 1860. His birthplace was given as Mendlesham, Suffolk. ^[2]

In 1881 Tom Cuthbert was lodging at 26 Myddleton Square in Clerkenwell. His age was given as 21, implying a birth date in 1859 or 1860. His birthplace was given as Mendlesham, Suffolk. He was a colonial broker. ^[3]

Tom Cuthbert, third surviving son of William Cuthbert, esq., of Mendlesham, Suffolk, and Mildred Stanley Buchanan, eldest daughter of Rev J. R. Buchanan, of Herne, Kent, were married at Sydney in New South Wales on 4 November 1884. ^{[4] [5]}

Tom Cuthbert, fourth son of the late Dr William Cuthbert, of Mendlesham, Suffolk, died at 24 Egina Street, Mt Hawthorn, Western Australia, on 12 February 1927. He was formerly manager of Messrs Felton, Grimwade, and Beckford, Ltd, and an employee of the Australian Drug Co., Sydney. ^{[6] [7]}
