Biography
John was born on February 28, 1743 in Medway, Massachusetts. He was the first born child of Jonathan Wheeler and Comfort Bullard. [1]
He and Elizabeth Partridge declared their Intention to Marry March 8, 1766 in Medway. [2] They had 6 children, though sadly only 2 lived to adulthood:
- Lewis b. 1767 d. 1832
- Matilda b. 1769 d. 1773
- Abigail b. 1774 d. 1778
- John b. 1779 d. 1856
- Jason b. b. 1782 d. 1788
John passed away on November 20, 1788 and is buried in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis (formerly Medway). [3]
