Biography
William Domville Handcock, the son of William Handcock and Margaret Phillips was born about 1830. Year of birth inferred from age at death.
He married Ellen Oliver Rooke on 5 June 1862 at Dublin, Ireland.[1] [2]
MARRIAGES.
Handcock and Rooke—June 5, at St. Stephen’s Church, Mount Street, Dublin, by the Rev. John Pim, cousin to the bride, William Dornville [sic], eldest son of William Elias Handcock, Esq., of Sally Park, County Dublin, to Ellen Oliver, eldest surviving daughter of the late Major Rooke, 12th Regiment Madras Army.[3]
William Domville Handcock died on 5 June 1887 at Dublin.[4] [5]
He was buried at Mount Jerome Cemetery and Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, County Dublin.[6]
