Francischella Romano was baptized at Lipari, Provincia di Messina, Kingdom of Sicily, 6 January 1566, daughter of Felice Romano and Lucretia Procaolo; her sponsor was Paolo di Serio.[1] She died at Lipari, 8 January 1654, aged 86 [sic], and was buried at Lipari, 9 January 1654: "Fran.ca filius Felicis Romano et Lucretia Procaolo etatis sue annora 86."[2] She married at Lipari, about 1582, MaestroBernardo Israeli, who was born at Lipari, about 1560, possibly son of Maestro Paolo Israeli,[3] and possibly of Jewish ancestry; and died at Lipari, after 3 February 1603.[4]
There is possible evidence Francesca Romano became a nun after her husband died. In 1622, there Criminal information against Sister Francischella Romano (for having conversed with Dottor Cola Francesco Calderaro, who was publicly excommunicated).[5]

Giovanni Maria Israeli, b. ca. 1583; d. Lipari, 27 9bre (Nov.) 1669; bur. Lipari, 29 9bre (Nov.) 1669, ae. ca. 80: "Joanne Maria Israeli filius qm Bernard Israeli et Franc.tta Romano etatis sue annorum 80 circiti." On 11 Nov. 1621, the Reverendo Procurer Fiscal accused Joannem Mariam Isdraeli of resistance and violent force against the person of Subdeacon Alphonsi Graffeo, Procurer Fiscal.[8]
Tommaso Israeli, bap. 7 March 1586; sponsor was Giovanni Simone Nigro. Don He was bur. Lipari, 10 Aug. 1674, ae. ca. 74: "Don Thomas Israeli filius Bernard Israeli et Franc.tta Romano etatis sue annorum 74 circiter." Tommaso Israeli was the subject of several lawsuits and court cases. In June 1614, there was a trial against Don Giovanni Tommaso d'Israeli on a lawsuit by Vincenzo Stancagliano who was attacked and beaten by him.[9] On 3 Aug. 1619, criminal complaint was filed at the instance of the Maestro Francesco Tinghino against Don Giovanni Tommaso Israel, of insults in a deliberate manner, of injuries and offensive words.[10] On 5 May 1620, information against Mr. Tommaso Israeli about the usurped jurisdiction in Chorus.[11] On 20 May 1620, the court recorded information against Geronimo Peres, regional captain, for the imprisonment of the Very Reverend Don Tommaso Isdrael, vicar general, and Cesare Voi, procurator fiscal.[12] In May 1621, a deposition by Don Tommaso Israeli (apostolic commissioner) was recorded, in which he stated that on the 8th of the current month, having to carry out the order of his superiors to post a bill in the Marina di S. Giovanni, he was attacked by Ambrogio Pirera, Verdirame Boi and Assenzio Perera.[13] On 21 May 1621, the court recorded information against Geronimo Peres, captain of the arms of the city of Lipari, on the detention and imprisonment of Rev. Don Giovanni Tommaso Istrael, vicar general and Cesar Voi, fiscal manager of the episcopal court.[14] On 20 June 1621, information was presented for the instance of D. Maria Stella against Don Thomas Israeli concerning offensive words.[15] On 11 Nov. 1621, criminal information was filed at the instance of Caesar Romano against D. Tommaso Isdraeli, priest, who wounded the claw of his right hand with a bite.[16] In 1624, information was presented against Thomas Israeli (accused of injury to the Bishop of Lipari).[17]

Maria Israeli, bap. 21 June 1598; sponsor was Giovanni Simone Falanga. She was bur. Lipari, 12 9bre (Nov.) 1667, ae. ca. 60: "Maria Israeli testiana diui Franci filius qm Bennardi Israele Tresamsis et Franc.tta Romano etatis sue annorum 60 circiter in domo Josephi Galluppi qm Fran.ci uxor civitate Lipare."
