Biography

Anna was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1884. She was the eldest daughter of Jacob and Lena (Emmerich) Stark. She grew up in Pittsburgh.[1]

In 1910, she married Bernard Mathlage in Beaver County.[2] Together, they had three children:

  1. Marie (b. 1912)
  2. Bernice (b. 1915)
  3. Loretta (b. 1919).

In 1920, the Mathlage family lived in Conneaut, Ohio.[3] In 1930, they lived in Wheeling, West Virginia.[4]

In 1940, Anna and Bernard lived in Hancock, West Virginia.[5] Bernard passed away in Ohio in 1945.[6] Anna passed away in 1965.[7]
