Biography
Harvey Greenleaf married Eliza, who was born ~1796 in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, [1] in ~1821, and they had 1 son Samuel born ~1822 in Locke, Cayuga, New York, [2] where Harvey Greenleaf died on 31 Oct 1859 [3] and Eliza died before the US Census for Locke taken on 08 Jul 1870. [4]
Though the identity of Eliza is unknown, it is known that she was born in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York, and shortly before she married Harvey Greenleaf, a man named James Bayne Clarke (1767-1842) from Brooklyn, Kings, New York and his wife Eleanor (Fisher) Clarke (1774-1856) sold 70 acres in Lot 32 of Locke, Cayuga, New York to her future husband Harvey Greenleaf on 23 Apr 1819.
