Biography
Alpheus was born in 1789. He was the son of Sylvanus Finch and Elizabeth Sharpe. He passed away in 1851.
He married Betsey Hinman on 14 November, 1810 in New York. Their children were Nathaniel Finch, James Finch (1815-?), Calvin Finch (1817–1891), Munson Earl Finch (1820–1915), Rufus M. Finch (1825–1902), Ira Finch (1827–1903), Mary F. (Finch) Tyler (1829–1916) and Theron Finch (1833–1890).
Alpheus passed away on 16 June, 1851 in Maine, Broome, New York. Burial site unknown.
