Ronald was born about 1922. He was the son of Thomas Henry John Weeks and Irene (Sturt) Weeks.^[1]

A Census taken on 29 Sep 1939 of Bagshot, Surrey, England lists Thomas Henry John Weeks 42 b. 18 Jan 1897, Garden Labourer and his wife, Irene (Sturt) Weeks 35 b 6 Sep 1904 and Ronald Arthur Weeks 17 b. 6 Feb 1922, Plumber's Mate. ^[2]
