Biography
On 10 February 1861 Sarah Elizabeth Eke was baptised in Guestwick, Norfolk, the daughter of Sarah and Robert, a blacksmith. [1]
In the 1871 census of Guestwick, she is 10. Father Robert, 37, blacksmith, mother Susan 32 and children Alfred 11, Sarah E. 10, Benjamin R. 5, and daughter, 2. Robert was born in nearby Wood Dalling, Norfolk, and the rest of the family in Guestwick.
On 8 May 1894 Sarah Elizabeth Eke and James Frederick Turner were married in New Zealand. [2]
