Biography

Margaret was born in 1921, the daughter of Frederick Frye Rockwell and of Ethel Margaret Hughan.
"Maggie was an artist and wrote poetry. Author of four books of poetry -- "Davy's Lake," "Sonnets from Seventy-Five Years," "Barefoot Goose," and "Crone's Wines" -- and short stories/works published in several anthologies, she served as co-president of the Maine Poets Society from 2009 to 2014.
She was the widow of Henry LeRoy Finch, of New Rochelle, N.Y., a noted professor of philosophy; and is survived by their five children, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren." ^[1]
Margaret passed away in 2018 ^[2].
