Christian was born on 11 June 1888 in Haarlem, Holland.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

Christian arrived in the United States in 1906.^[6]

When Christian was 32 he married Dochia Cordelia Green on 25 May 1921 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, USA. The couple had 4 children: Harry Daniel Jansen, Christian Cornelius Jansen, Robert William Jansen and John Chester Jansen.^[7]

Christian died at the age of 56 on 1 June 1945 in Oklahoma, USA.^[8]
