Biography

Catherine was born in 1895 in Poliana, in the Russian Empire. She was the daughter of George Luft and Mary Schmick. She came with her parents to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 1913. She was married April 28, 1919, to Henry Luft, also of Calgary. They moved to Sheboygan in 1923. Henry died Aug. 7, 1965. Catherine moved to California and died shortly after in March 1981.
