My grandmother's first husband was George Prescott Fisher -- he was born on 26 October 1887 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland Canada and he died on 17 April 1972 in Weaverville, North Carolina USA. They had a daughter known as Janet Parker Fisher - she was born in September 1914 and died on 17 Nov. 1929 in Grand Bank, Newfoundland. George Prescott Fisher had a second marriage to Ethel Davis - she was born on 03 October 1897 in Forney, Texas USA and she died on 25 January 1995 in Dallas, Texas USA. George Prescott Fisher and Ethel Davis were married on 26 April 1924 in Los Angeles, California USA. Information passed down by my family: Carol Thistle as remembered 23 Dec 2022.
