Biography

Born in 1898, Frank was one of ten children born to Felix Kasprow & Eleanora Rucka. He married Mary Adamowski in New Britain on 13 Jun 1921 and had three children:

1. Frances Victoria (b. 1921)
2. Eleanor Mary (b. 1931)
3. Marion

He left his wife in 1947 and married Gertrude Smith. He passed away in 1958 and is buried with Gertrude, who lived an additional 30 years.

Frank J. Kasprow, 59, of 295 Rocky Hill Ave., New Britain, died Friday at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home. Born Nov. 21, 1898, a son of Mrs. Eleanor Kasprow and the late Felix Kasprow, he lived more than six years in New Britain. He was employed 14 years as a foreman at the National Automatic Products Co. in Berlin and was a member of the Eagles Lodge of New Britain. Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Smith Kasprow; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Chajnowski of New Britain, Mrs. Stanley Chajnowski of Newington and Mrs. Victor Busnardo of Kensington; a stepson, Frederick Cagianello of Hartford; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert Johnson of New Britain; five brothers, Joseph Kasprow and Felix Kasprow, both of Newington, Stephen Kasprow and Gene Kasprow, both of New Britain, and Anthony Kasprow of Hartford; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Grogan and Mrs. Steven Ginelewiez, both of New Britain, and Mrs. Allen Dicenza of Newington; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, Elm St., Rocky Hill. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home today and Monday 7 to 9 p.m.
